5Hole Privacy Policy

Privacy

Effective 2026-10-13. This policy covers every version of 5Hole.

This policy covers the game 5Hole, made by the 5Hole developer ("we", "us").

Summary

5Hole has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. There are no third parties in the game, and we do not sell or share any data.

What the game sends, and when

Apart from online play (below), the game sends data to us only when you open REPORT A BUG and press SEND. You decide when that happens. If a report cannot be sent, it is kept on your device and sent automatically the next time the game starts.

What a bug report contains

Online play

Online matches are 1v1 through our lobby server. While you are in a match, the lobby server sees your IP address so it can connect the two players. There is no chat and there are no player names.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

Reports are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection (with a pinned certificate) to our own server. They are seen only by the developer and used only to fix bugs. With each report, and in rate-limit logs, the server stores only the first part of your IP address (/24; /48 for IPv6), to stop abuse. We keep at most the newest 500 reports (500 MB in total); older reports are deleted automatically.

Your choices

Children

The game has no accounts and collects no personal information. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
